Well, could you buy an SSD disc for me, and just download every game with a 8.0 or more on metacritic? Just send it over the pond when you are done, which would take about 3 hours. Anyway, LUCKY YOU, i'm stuck with 2 mbps MAX.

At work I have nearly perfect 50/50. It's pretty sweet.

I wouldn't trust a SSD for that much data, HDDs would risk breaking, but it's no less risky than a SSD.

I'm no gamer though, but when I have to upload a piece to my documentary, it's better than at home, where speedtest barely bumps the needle.

I assume you are from America? And with the prices on wifi speed you all keep rambling about on reddit, this must be quiet expensive?

Yeah, on the tech savvy east coast. This is my school's internet, I have no idea what they pay, because it's several lines in. Complicated. Work is a business cable line with multiple static IPs to distribute workloads and networks.

At home, it's horrific verizon DSL. Can't convince my parents to upgrade to anything else. Yet they complain when they can't stream long PBS programs from your side of the pond.

Haha, sounds like the problem I face as well, just the other way around. But I can survive, and it only costs me 20 dollars a month.

When I need to do any real work at home, I tether. It's sad, and hurts on my bill later if I go over 5gb.

Where I work at Ohio University, we get 70-100mpbs upload and download with very small ping, and that's with 18,000(I would estimate) people on the network.
